The Rode NT5 Condenser Microphones are a pair of high-quality small-diaphragm condenser microphones designed for use in a variety of recording applications. The microphones feature a cardioid polar pattern, with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and a maximum SPL of 140 dB. They also provide excellent low-noise performance and a very low self-noise of only 7 dB (A-weighted). The NT5s are constructed from a robust metal body with an integrated capsule shock mount, and include a swivel mount for easy positioning. They are an ideal choice for recording acoustic instruments, drums, guitar amps, and vocals in the studio or on the stage.
